That Little Voice - Muslim Women’s Network

Seconds after experiencing a drive-by Islamophobic remark, Farah is rattled but carries on with her day - until she comes face to face with her inner voice, debating whether she should take action.

This film created as part of a volunteer filmmaker scheme with Media Trust in collaboration with the Muslim Women’s Network seeks to tackle the collective fear Muslim communities are feeling regarding rising levels of anti-Muslim hate, and the importance of reporting through a new tool - the Muslim Safety Net. By taking a light-hearted and narrative-driven approach, ‘That Little Voice’ is able to shed some light on the lived experiences of Muslim communities, before rallying them to help report hateful incidents.
